An important part of this experience is the development of art skills while having fun creating with clay.  The class uses the hand building technique in a professional studio/gallery setting that includes a tour of the Eure home, which was featured in the 2008 issue of Winston-Salem Living Magazine under Artistic Contemporary Living.  This tour showcases how clay and other materials can be used to create utilitarian and decorative works of art.  Who knows, this experience could launch a child into the world of creating art and all its wonders.

     The self-confidence and fluency of imagination that young children, at all levels, show continues to amaze me.
